The Villaverde Lodges are located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in north-eastern Italy, precisely in the town of Fagagna, between Udine and San Daniele del Friuli (a town that produces a well-known type of dry-cured ham), just an hour away from the airport. The Lodges are integrated in the 85 hectares of the Udine Golf Club - Villaverde Golf Course, in front of hole n.9. They are perfect for medium-long rentals, extended stay business and leisure travel for golfers or nature loving sporty people.

The Villaverde Lodges, designed by Uppercut Design, were created with the idea of offering refined lodgings, developed according to sustainable concepts, with careful choice of building materials, minimal maintenance and efficient energy conservation. There are four residences, each with two apartments, characterized by large picture windows that frame the golf green and the splendid hillside scenery, offering an ongoing dialog with the exterior and an intense relation with the surrounding natural environment. They were created and designed for couples and families that want to be independent and private, and they are all composed of one 41 m2 studio on the ground floor and a 98 m2 two-room Deluxe apartment on the top floor. The Duplex is the whole residence, composed of a studio and a Deluxe apartment, that are connected by an internal staircase.

Villaverde Hotel&Resort opened in February 2016. Despite its high-tech style, the Resort's architecture perfectly blends into its surroundings. Designed by Arthitect Alessio Princic as a "heman wellness machine", the project has been conceived with the greatest respect for the engironment and combines geothermic and photovoltaic power supplies that reduce fossil fuel combustion to zero, while adopting unusual materials and colors, ample glass surfaces and outdoor areas for an intense experience of light, airness, balance.

Villaverde Hotel&Resort has 33 guestrooms, Comfort and Suites, all with balcony and panoramic view over the golf course and the mountains.

The Resort's Hall is a multipurpose area of considerable internal and external dimensions. It is elegantly furnished with small lounges which may be used for relaxing, waiting or for small meetings. The foyer also hosts a unique, high-tech meeting room: an oval space for 100 people seated.

The Privilegium Restaurant offers guests the original experience of dining (booking required) in a sophisticated, home-like kitchen designed especially for show-cooking. Alternatively, guests may choose the Villaverde Bar&Restaurant, which is about 200m away and reached via a bridge linking the Resort to the golf course.

 

 

The Resort is also being constructed to a depth, with a medical-health centre of around 1,500 square metres located beneath the hotel rooms. The aim is to create a centre for health care through sports controls, physiotherapy, check-ups and a whole series of innovative offers.

Descending further, there will be the Salus per Aquam floor, furnished with massage and sauna rooms, hammam, foating room, hydrotherapy pool, mud bath and a 25 metre long swimming pool.

The Resort will also have a meeting room that can accomodate 90 people.

A bridge, will connect the golf course where three fitness trails have been constructed. A wider range of sport and leisure activities are offered to please all: bike tours, horse riding, tennis and sailing in the gulf of Trieste.

The Resort offers the convenience of reaching any destination by renting limousine, helicopters and private planes.
